On Monday 14th March, 3P innovation cut the sod of their second purpose-built facility in Warwick.

3P have continued to grow over the last few years, leading to an investment of £5M into an eco-friendly 30,000 sq. ft. purpose-build facility, doubling the size of their premise again. 3P's management team and representatives of the Employee Council gathered on Monday to cut the sod at the new development site, which will expand our UK and International operations. We were also joined by the team at Clowes Development to cut the sod.

The new site, being built by Clowes Developments, will be a 30,000 sq ft purpose-built facility, taking the 3P premises to a combined total of 60,000 sq ft of both office and workshop space. This move will allow for 3P’s workforce to double in size.

Construction contractors, Benniman have started preparing the ground for the new development, and the building is expected to be ready to move into during Q1 2023.

Paul Shanley, Consultant at Clowes Developments, commented:
‘It is great to see an existing occupier at Tournament Fields thriving and expanding. We are delighted with the success 3P have experienced whilst located here and we are looking forward to helping them evolve further with their brand-new premises.

Commenting on this, 3P’s Managing Director, Nick Brooks said: ‘This new chapter is an exciting one for us. After outgrowing our current purpose-built facility in just three years, we needed to invest in another premises to enable our continued growth. We are looking forward to housing more projects, recruiting more engineers and expanding on our new 3P pharma equipment and 3P custom automation brands as the business takes an exciting direction towards standard platforms, alongside our traditional custom automation expertise.’3P innovation have invested £5M into this development, with at least £350,000 of that investment dedicated to making the building greener. Following the steps taken with the development of our current facilities, we have conciously chosen to reduce our carbon footprint by adding solar panels, led-efficient lighting, a variable speed air compressor to reduce energy usage and energy efficient air conditioning and heating to our new premises.
