Graduate Development Programme

Salary: £32,000 p/a (Plus EO Bonus)

Length: 3 years

Discipline: Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering

Our Graduate Development Programme will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the industry. We make sure that our participants have the chance to explore many different areas, rather than merely concentrating on one aspect and with that, the programme is designed to provide exposure to a variety of fields in order to ensure you become a well-rounded professional.

Over the three-year programme, you'll enjoy a proactive approach that allows you to monitor your progress and develop a comprehensive range of skills, feeding into CPD/CEng chartership qualifications.

What will you be doing?

You’ll provide creativity and problem-solving skills to a range of ground breaking, product development and automation projects. Day-to-day you will be designing and developing the mechanical, electrical or control systems associated with new production machines.

As you might expect, when working on next-generation products, most of what we do is confidential, however you can take a look at our case studies to get an idea of the types of projects you might be working on.

What will you bring?

For this opportunity a 2:1 or 1st in an engineering discipline is required (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or similar). Alongside your degree you will need to demonstrate a real passion for delivering solutions to complex and challenging technical problems.

Testimonial

Andy Preston – Mechanical Engineer

“I joined the Graduate Development Programme at 3P innovation a year and a half ago, and in that time the learning has been non-stop and invaluable. Joining 3P, the work environment is welcoming and friendly and over my time here I have found countless moments of mentorship from other employees, with personal development and career exploration encouraged from the start. As a company taking a wide range of projects from a number of industries no project is the same and you are given the opportunity to see out every stage of the engineering life cycle from proposing a design right through to installing on a customer’s site. As such, new challenges are seen everyday allowing you to explore new and creative solutions, with 3P fostering an open “no bad answer” atmosphere. From a company philosophy and job fulfillment perspective I cannot think of a better entry into the world of engineering.”
